TYPE IIR 3PLY SURGICAL MASK

• The elastic bands can be easily adapted to ensure an optimal fit of the mask to the face;
• The mouldable nose bridge, placed on the upper part of the nose, allows the masks to adhere correctly to the face;
• Skin-friendly and protective non-woven fabric;
• Melt blown fabric filtering up to 99%;
• The mask consists of 3 layers of non-woven polypropylene fabric:
INNER LAYER: Spun Bond polypropylene non-woven fabric. This absorbent layer captures the moisture expelled through breathing whilst leaving the face dry. It is hypoallergenic to ensure maximum tolerability when applied to the face.
INTERMEDIATE LAYER: Melt Blown polypropylene non-woven fabric. It creates a high-density layer of yarn and fibres with an irregular arrangement. This three-dimensional arrangement of fibres gives the intermediate layer exceptional filtering power, as well as the ability to block the passage of small particles.
OUTER LAYER: made of Spun Bond non-woven fabric, like the inner layer. The outer layer is covered with a hydrophobic treatment that guarantees excellent resistance to liquids and aerosols.

• Filtering capacity of > 95% of particles with a diameter of 2.5 microns;
• The layers provide up to 99% filtering power;
• The filtering masks last from 8 to 10 hours in a contaminated environment;
• They consist of 5 layers (one outer layer, three intermediate layers and one inner layer):
OUTER LAYER: consisting of polypropylene non-woven fabric, which allows the mask to be externally isolated from liquids, clouds and large particles.
FILTERING LAYER: formed by an overlap of 3 layers, it is made of polypropylene non-woven material. It is produced using Melt Blown technology, which forms a high-density fibre lattice with exceptional filtering power. There is also an electrostatic filtering layer which, thanks to its dense and compact structure, collects the smallest and most electrostatically charged dust particles.
INNER LAYER: composed of skin-friendly non-woven fabric that allows the best possible fit. It provides excellent absorption of exhaled breath and saliva, thus restoring moisture levels in the mask.

Our factory is equipped with an ISO class 5:100000 cleanroom with 0.1 uM particles. The clean room environment has a very low content of suspended powder micro-particles, which enables the manufacturing of large quantities of masks in a completely sterile environment.
